We meet about every two months at Lasswade High School Centre, south of Edinburgh. The venue is fully accessible and has good car parking. Our meetings are usually in September, November, January, March, and May (our AGM). Over the summer we arrange social events rather than a formal meeting. Please see the Branch Meetings page to find out the date of the next one, and to get a map. If you can't get along to meetings, the Reports will be posted or e mailed to you: we often have interesting speakers such as neurologists and experts on disability legislation.
In the past we have had some very interesting speakers. With their permission, reports of their talks are available through the Branch Reports page. Reports of the most recent meetings are also available in full.
The Branch committee co-ordinates activities - but it's up to the members too, to come along, join in and hopefully organise events themselves. You will find photos of the current committee and contact details on the Committee Members page.
If you'd like to be able to receive emails from other members, we can set up a branch email address for you. This will be yourname@ataxia-east-scotland.org.uk and messages will be automatically forwarded to your private email address. Drop us an email if you'd like to take part - the people who have signed up so far are listed on the Branch Members page.
